SHERICK’S SWEET CAROLINA GIRL, MT<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahhh … what can we say about our first Bloodhound?<\/p>\n

Campbell held a very special spot in our hearts! This girl taught us so much and we couldn’t have enjoyed her more. Campbell had such a kind and gentle disposition. She was very similar to her littermate brother, Willie<\/a>, and they had a very special bond with each other. She was the alpha of our pack, yet had such a soft temperament with us. Campbell enjoyed alerting the other dogs if anything odd was going on outside of her fence and was famous for her “opera singing.” She was also the beautiful voice who began the chorus when the fire trucks went by.<\/div>\n
In very early January of 2008, Campell was diagnosed with mandibular fibrosarcoma. She put up a tough fight for several months and was with us up until she let us know she was ready to go. We lost her two months shy of her 9th birthday. We miss her terribly and it was very hard to say goodbye. We miss her grace, her elegance, her quiet presence. She represented many firsts for us and she will always be our girl. Though we no longer hear her beautiful voice when the fire trucks go by, we know she is singing in the choir in dog heaven. Rest in peace our sweet Cammy Cam…..<\/div>\n
