Higgins, named for the wooden speedboat (modeled after the World War Higgins boat), is a very personable guy! He has an ever seeking curiosity about him and loves to use his nose whether on the trail or to help you find just the right pot from the cupboard. He is a full brother to our Price and lived with us until he was 18 months old. He currently loves and lives with the Moss family who are only fifteen minutes from us. It is great because we do get to see him often!
Higgins finished his championship at thirteen months old in February 2008 with very limited showing. He loved to show and was always having a good time in the ring! Higgins is currently enjoying some time off from the show ring and picking up the sport of man-trailing. He successfully completed his man-trailer title (MT), with Michael handling him, at the Southeastern Bloodhound Club’s trailing trial in February 2010. With very limited showing in 2011, Higgins completed his Grand Championship. He is a beautiful and sound boy!
He never meets a stranger and loves all who he meets! He is a clownish boy who keeps the Moss family on their toes and laughing often, just as we do with Higgins’ father Nolan.
